Ingredients to make homemade pumpkin cream:

  • 300 grams of Auyama
  • ½ unit of Onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 60 milliliters of milk cream
  • 700 milliliters of chicken broth
  • 1 pinch of salt1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 jet of oil

How to make homemade pumpkin cream:

  1. Before making this delicious pumpkin cream, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.
  2. In a pot add the chicken broth and the pumpkin cut into medium cubes, cook over medium heat for approximately 20 minutes until the pumpkin is soft.
  3. In a pan with oil, fry the finely chopped onion, when it is translucent add the macerated garlic and cook a few more minutes, season with salt and pepper.
  4. It is time to blend the pumpkin together with the fried onion with a little of the cooking broth. Blend until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, if we see it too thick add more broth.
  5. Bring the pumpkin cream back to the pot over medium heat and when it is boiling, add the milk cream and mix. Adjust flavor with salt and pepper.
