It is very common in Latin American countries to eat gnocchi or noodles with tuco on Sundays, a tomato sauce with meat of Italian origin similar to Bolognese. But also, it is even richer if you accompany it with homemade Argentinian noodles made by hand like the typical Italian fresh pasta, so don’t wait any longer and try this recipe for homemade noodles with tuco that we has sent to share with everyone.
Ingredients to make homemade noodles with tuco:
- 500 grams of flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
For the tuco:
- 1 carrot
- Ketchup
- salted
- oil
- 1 red bell pepper
- seasonings to taste
- Pepper
- 1 tomato
- 1/2 kilo of minced meat
- 1 large onion
- Grated cheese to taste (optional)
How to make homemade noodles with tuco:
- Place the flour in a bowl, make a crown in the center and add the eggs, salt and olive oil, and if necessary add 1 tablespoon of water.
- Knead for 5 minutes until smooth and homogeneous homemade noodle dough is formed, and let rest covered.
- Stretch the noodle dough with tuco until the desired thickness is achieved.
- Cut the dough in the chosen shape, in this case I cut thin noodles.
- Cook the homemade noodles in plenty of boiling salted water for 2 to 3 minutes as it is fresh pasta
- Prepare while the sauce or tuco is cooking: for this, we chop and fry the onion, add the meat, the small chopped tomato, the grated carrot, the chopped bell pepper, and season with the herbs to taste, salt and pepper.
- We add grated cheese to taste to the homemade noodles with tuco and serve for lunch.
