Ingredients to make homemade Christmas coquito drink:

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 1 can of coconut milk
  • 6 units of egg yolks
  • 1 pinch of vanilla essence
  • 1 pinch of Cinnamon powder
  • 1 cup of white rum

How to make homemade Christmas coquito drink:

  1. To start preparing the Christmas coquito, the first thing you should do is beat the egg yolks. You can reserve the egg whites for another recipe or make a meringue with them.
  2. Then, put the beaten egg yolks, condensed milk, evaporated milk, coconut milk , rum, cinnamon powder and vanilla essence to taste in the blender. Blend these ingredients well and make sure there are no lumps.
  3. Pass the coquito through a strainer and pour the drink into a large glass bottle, close it and reserve it in the fridge for a week so that the aromas integrate.
  4. The Christmas coquito can also be taken cold at the moment, but keep in mind that after a few days this drink tastes much better. When you serve it, sprinkle a little ground cinnamon over each glass and place cinnamon sticks to decorate.
