Ingredients to make homemade cherry liqueur:
- 300g cherries
- 40 cc 40° alcohol
- 300cc water
- 300g sugar
- a dash of anise
- 2 nails
How to make homemade cherry liqueur:
- Wash the cherries well, leaving them submerged in water for a few minutes.
- Dry with a cloth and put them in a wide-mouthed bottle or an airtight glass container.
- Step 2 Add the alcohol and cloves and move the container. Cover tightly.
- Step 3 Prepare a syrup by cooking the sugar and water for 5 minutes over low heat.
- Let cool and add a dash of aniseed. Fill the bottle and move again to mix it well.
- Cover tightly for at least 3 months of rest.
