Homemade and easy fish croquettes recipe

• 300 grams of white fish

• 500 milliliters of milk

• 80 grams of flour

• 2 cloves of garlic

• 1 bunch of parsley

• 2 units of eggs

• 1 package of breadcrumbs

• 1 pinch of salt

• 1 glass of oil for frying

• 1 small glass of fish broth

• 60 grams of butter

How to make easy homemade fish croquettes:

We will start the fish croquettes, putting a small saucepan with water on the fire, and when it is hot we will add the pieces of fish and cook them for about 10 minutes. We will reserve the cooking broth. Then we take out the fish, remove bones and cut into pieces or strips.

Trick: You can use any white fish like me in this case that I have used hake.

Chop the garlic and parsley. Put the butter in a frying pan, add the garlic and when it begins to brown, add the fish and the chopped parsley, and stir everything. Next, add the flour, stirring it with all the rest of the ingredients for the hake croquettes. We take half a glass of fish cooking broth, add it to the pan, stir and as it thickens we add the milk two or three times , as we see what is needed. We tried salt. There must be a creamy mass for the béchamel for the fish croquettes. We transfer the mass of the fish croquettes with béchamel to a bowl, let it cool down and put it in the fridge for a few hours.

Beat the eggs, put a bowl with the breadcrumbs. We form the homemade fish croquettes with our hands or with the help of 2 soup spoons and we will pass them first through the egg and then through the breadcrumbs.
