Herb Chicken Salad Recipe

Ingredients to make Fine Herb Chicken Salad:

  • 1 supreme or cooked and shredded chicken breast.
  • 1 tablespoon of dried oregano.
  • 1 tablespoon of dried bay leaf.
  • 1 tablespoon of dried thyme.
  • 2 tablespoons of coarse salt.
  • 1 cup of white wine.
  • 1 tablespoon butter.
  • 1 green lettuce.
  • 1 cup of mixed cooked vegetables (peas, carrots, green beans)
  • 1 can of white asparagus.

How to make Herb Chicken Salad:

Prelist all the ingredients. Chop the lettuce and take it to a bowl with a little water and two tablespoons of white vinegar, in this way we disinfect our lettuce. Leave it in this mixture for approximately 15 minutes.

Bring a large skillet to medium heat and add the butter, once melted add the chicken and let it sauté. Add salt and pepper. Leave sautéing for approximately 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes add the dried herbs (oregano, bay leaf and thyme) Let sauté for 10 more minutes.

After ten minutes add the cup of wine and leave for 5 to 10 more minutes while the flavors are concentrated. Finally add the cooked vegetable mix and turn off the heat. Make a bed of lettuce and add the asparagus cut into medium pieces. Add the fine herbs chicken on top. Serve and enjoy.
