Hazelnut Milk

Ingredients to make Hazelnut Milk:

  1. 1/2 cup of toasted hazelnuts.
  2. 1 liter of drinking water.
  3. 2 envelopes of stevia.
  4. Optional
  5. Cinnamon powder.

How to make Hazelnut Milk:

  • To start making our hazelnut milk recipe, the first step is to prepare all the ingredients.
  • Add the hazelnuts to a bowl with 500 ml of drinking water and let them soak in the water for 12 hours in the fridge.
  • After twelve hours, remove the bowl from the fridge and remove the water where we soaked them, add the remaining 500 ml of drinking water, the stevia sachets and process until obtaining a consistency as seen in the photo.
  • With the help of a strainer, strain our milk to remove the remains of processed hazelnuts and that only our hazelnut milk remains, with the rest of the hazelnuts what we can do to avoid wasting them is to take them to an oven at 140 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes and toast them, we can use this as a dressing for salads or any dish you want.
  • Serve our hazelnut milk decorating with a little cinnamon powder on top, we must remember that this milk has a shelf life of 5 days so it is important not to make a large amount.
