Hamburger Kebab Recipe

There are recipes that come from ingenuity because when we go to prepare them we are missing some ingredient. In this case, the idea of wrapping the hamburger in a durum bun or corn tortilla was premeditated in an attempt to prepare a different dish that would merge two dinners that we all like to have at home, such as homemade hamburgers and kebabs, although we only drink occasionally.

The result was a hit so I share my recipe so that you can also try it at home and comment on what you think.

Ingredients to make Hamburger Kebab:

  • 2 beef burgers
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 1 handful of sliced pickles
  • 1 splash of kebab sauce
  • 1 jet of olive oil
  • Kebab bread (durum, corn tortilla or pita)

How to make Hamburger Kebab:

The first thing we have to do to prepare this hamburger kebab is to paint the griddle or a frying pan with a splash of olive oil and make the hamburgers on both sides. You choose the point you want from the meat, but I like it to be to the point. If you want to make homemade beef burger try this recommended recipe.

In each of the durum or pita breads we put kebab sauce, a handful of pickle slices and a slice of cheese in the center. Put the beef burger on top and cover it with another slice of cheese.

Trick: We can put less cheese if we don’t like it and change the sauce for the one we most want or have at home.

We close the bread giving the hamburger kebabs a package shape and put them in the grill so that they are lightly toasted and sealed.

Trick: If we don’t have a grill, we can do it back and forth in the same pan in which we made the hamburger.

We serve and enjoy our hamburger kebab alone or accompanied by some baked potatoes or a celery, tomato and avocado salad. Bon Appetite!
