Ham Mousse Recipe

Ingredients to make Ham Mousse:

  1. 1 cup of chopped leg ham
  2. 5 cups chopped smoked bacon
  3. 1 head of onion chopped
  4. 1 teaspoon mustard
  5. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  6. 2 tablespoons of margarine
  7. 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin
  8. 1 cup bechamel sauce
  9. 5 cups cream or heavy cream
  10. 100 ml of water
  11. 1 pinch of salt
  12. 1 pinch of pepper

How to make Ham Mousse:

  • Prepare a sauce with margarine, ham, bacon and onion and set aside.
  • Dissolve the gelatin in lukewarm water and set aside. Then mix the gelatin, bechamel sauce, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper.
  • Add the sauce and continue mixing and then place it in a mouse mold and refrigerate until set.
