How to make Ham and Ricotta Cannelloni:

  • To start making cannelloni with ham and ricotta, the first step is to prepare all the ingredients.
  • In a large wave add water, bring to high heat and once the water is at a boil add our lasagna sheets. Cook until they are at the desired cooking point
  • Remove the leaves from the water and immediately go through cold water, reserve in a bowl with cold water.
  • To make our white sauce to bathe the cannelloni, bring a pot to medium heat, add the butter and flour to make a paste. Add the finely chopped garlic.
  • Add milk, salt and pepper if you want as something to add bay leaves as this will give more flavor to our white sauce. Cook until thickened over medium-low heat for about 10 to 15 minutes. Turn off and reserve the sauce.
  • Chop the ham into small squares and reserve.
  • Mix the ricotta with the chopped ham, integrates all the ingredients well.
  • Fill the pasta sheets with the mixture of ricotta and chopped ham, we must be very careful when carrying out this step so that our pasta sheets are not damaged when folding them, we must be very careful but they must remain.
  • Place the cannelloni in an ovenproof dish and add the white sauce on top. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Bake at 160 degrees Celsius until the cheese melts.
  • Once our cannelloni are ready, serve them with a salad.
