Hake in whiskey recipe

Ingredients to make HAKE IN WHISKEY:

  • 800 g. Sliced ​​hake
  • 1 glass of whiskey
  • 2 fresh basil leaves
  • An onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 lemons
  • A knife Of flour
  • 1/2 glass of olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

How to make HAKE IN WHISKEY:

  1. Peel the onion, finely chop it together with the garlic cloves, the basil and the skin of 1/2 lemon.
  2. Heat the oil in a wide saucepan and add the hake slices, previously seasoned.
  3. Sprinkle the fish with the prepared hash and sauté for a few minutes, turning the slices over once with a slotted spoon.
  4. Add the whiskey and cook over medium heat for another 8-10 minutes.
  5. Carefully remove the fish from the casserole, arrange it on a platter and keep warm.
  6. Add the juice of the 2 lemons and the flour to the bottom of the casserole.
  7. Let cook slowly until the sauce thickens a bit.
