Ingredients to make HAKE IN WHISKEY:
- 800 g. Sliced hake
- 1 glass of whiskey
- 2 fresh basil leaves
- An onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 lemons
- A knife Of flour
- 1/2 glass of olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
How to make HAKE IN WHISKEY:
- Peel the onion, finely chop it together with the garlic cloves, the basil and the skin of 1/2 lemon.
- Heat the oil in a wide saucepan and add the hake slices, previously seasoned.
- Sprinkle the fish with the prepared hash and sauté for a few minutes, turning the slices over once with a slotted spoon.
- Add the whiskey and cook over medium heat for another 8-10 minutes.
- Carefully remove the fish from the casserole, arrange it on a platter and keep warm.
- Add the juice of the 2 lemons and the flour to the bottom of the casserole.
- Let cook slowly until the sauce thickens a bit.
- Adjust the seasoning and pour over the hake. Garnish with a sprig of basil and serve.
