Hake in the Casserole with Clams Recipe

Ingredients to make Hake in the Casserole with Clams:

  • 2 Hake fillets (or sliced)
  • 100 gr of clams
  • 500 gr. of potatoes
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 200 grams of peas
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small red bell pepper
  • milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • ground chili

How to make Hake in the Casserole with Clams:

  1. Prepare the ingredients.
  2. Peel the onions and cut them finely, also do it with the pepper, garlic and tomatoes.
  3. Brown the onions, peppers and garlic in a pan with oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the tomatoes and season with ground chili.
  5. Pour in the milk and the same amount of water. Add the clams and mix.
  6. Add the previously blanched potatoes, along with the peas.
  7. Mix and arrange the fillets on top. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 or 15 minutes, or until the hake is tender.
  8. Remove carefully so as not to break the fillets, serve and enjoy piping hot!
