Gypsy Hake Recipe

Ingredients to make Gypsy Hake:

  • 600 gr. of hack
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 or 3 tomatoes peeled (peeled) and chopped
  • oil
  • salted
  • Pepper
  • flower

How to make Gypsy Hake:

  1. Flour the hake pieces and fry in very hot oil until golden brown.
  2. Then, they are put in a casserole, and in the oil that remains in the pan, add the garlic cloves, the onion and the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper.
  3. When everything is well-fried, pour it over the fish, add a glass of lukewarm water and let it cook over a very slow heat.
  4. Finally, remove the hake from the casserole, taking great care so that it does not fall apart, and serve drizzled with its sauce.
