Grilled Whole Sea Bass Recipe

This time we will make a whole grilled sea bass, a very easy recipe that does not have any complications but those results in an exquisite dish, with a lot of flavor and above all, light.

Ingredients to make Grilled Whole Sea Bass:

  • 1 sea bass
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper

How to make Grilled Whole Sea Bass:

  1. Even if they are very few, first of all gather all the ingredients to make the grilled fish on the work table.
  2. Next, wash the sea bass very well. Open in the center and remove all the entrails, then cut off the head with the help of kitchen scissors.
  3. Remember that you can also order this at the fishmonger already ready, but it is always preferable to clean the fish again under the stream before cooking.
  4. Make three parallel and diagonal cuts on each side of the fish and brush the slits and the entire surface of the sea bass with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  5. Unlike in the preparation of grilled sea bream, sea bass does not need a marinating time since the meat is much softer.
  6. So, heat a non-stick skillet and once hot, place the fish immediately to cook. Cook over medium heat on both sides until the skin is golden. The process shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes total.
  7. Tip: You can season with other spices for fish such as lemon grass, for example.
  8. Serve the whole sea bass grilled and garnish the plate with a few slices of lemon. This dish is very rich and light, since the fish has been cooked in its own fat, which is little. As a garnish I recommend you try grilled cucumber or a bit of quinoa with broccoli.
