Grilled fish and seafood recipe

Ingredients to make Grilled fish and seafood:

  • 6 medium squid
  • 2 boneless white fish fillets
  • 10 fresh prawns
  • 2 limes, sliced
  • 1 grated onion
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced very fine
  • 1 piece of grated ginger
  • 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon dried shrimp paste
  • 80ml of oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

How to make Grilled Fish and Seafood:

For the spice paste: mix the onion with the garlic, ginger, lemongrass, turmeric, shrimp paste, oil and salt in a kitchen blender until it forms a very fine paste.

Cut the squid into small pieces – Wash all the fish and shellfish in cold water, spread it with the spice paste once dried with kitchen paper. Place it on a tray and let it rest for half an hour. Lightly oil a griddle for the grill, and heat it little by little, when it is hot place the fish and prawns, grill them for 5 minutes on each side or until the fish is firm and the prawns turn a color between pink and orange. Add the pieces of squid and leave them for 5 minutes until the meat is white and firm. Arrange the pieces on lettuce leaves in a bowl, add the lime wedges.
