How to make Grilled Cod with Green Sauce:

  1. Our first step to be able to make the cod in green sauce recipe is to prepare the ingredients.
  2. To make the green sauce, we must heat a deep pot over medium heat with a teaspoon of olive oil. When hot, add the onion and green peppers in large pieces. Sauté with a little salt, black pepper to taste and a little garlic paste.
  3. Once you see that the vegetables are sautéed, add the fresh parsley and cover with a little water. If you want a more intense flavor you can use fish stock or fish broth. Let it reduce until you see that the sauce has a little consistency, remove from the heat and let it cool.
  4. Once the preparation is cold, take the green sauce ingredients to a food processor or blender. Blend very well.
  5. The ideal is to obtain a very thick puree. Blend our sauce and if you taste a bit you will realize that you have a smoked paprika or green pepper sauce.
  6. To cook the cod, add a little salt and black pepper to the fish fillets.
  7. Bring a skillet over medium heat with a little olive oil and add the fillets. Cook each of these side by side. Remember that the fish does not require much cooking, with about 6 minutes per side it will be enough.
  8. Serve the cod fillets bathing with the green sauce that we have made and decorate with smoked peppers and fresh parsley to give each dish a special touch.
