Ingredients to make Grilled Clams:

  • ½ kilogram of fresh clams
  • 2 tablespoons of Butter
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch of parsley

How to make Grilled Clams:

  • To cook clams easily and quickly, the first thing you should do is wash them and remove any sand they may have. To do this, leave them to soak in salt water for at least half an hour before preparation. Then rinse with plenty of cold water.
  • Heat a large enough skillet and melt the butter. If you prefer, you can use a little oil, but the butter will give the clams a unique flavor.
  • Add the clams and cook for about 7-10 minutes. Go moving from time to time to cook and open. Remember to discard the clams that do not open after the first three minutes, as this means that they are not in good condition.
  • At this point you can already enjoy the grilled clams, but if you want an extra flavor, you can melt some butter again in the same pan and sauté thefinely chopped garlic.
  • Then add the parsley, also finely chopped, and drizzle this sauce over the grilled clams. Like grilled razor clams, this type of shellfish already has an excellent flavor without having to add many ingredients.
