Grilled Chicken Skewers Recipe

These grilled chicken skewers that this time I teach you how to prepare, we prepare them very often in summer when we have a family reunion or with friends. But we can enjoy these chicken and pepper skewers at any time of the year since its ingredients are found in the market any day. Take good note because you are going to love them and they will disappear as you remove them from the fire!

Ingredients to make Grilled Chicken Skewers:

• 2 chicken breasts

• 2 onions

• 2 green peppers

• 1 red pepper

• 1 splash of extra virgin olive oil

• 1 pinch of salt

• 1 pinch of ground black pepper

How to make Grilled Chicken Skewers:

First of all, to prepare these grilled chicken and vegetable skewers, we start by cleaning the chicken breasts and removing the skin (if they have it) and any remaining fat. We cut them into cubes of approximately the same size, put them in a bowl and put salt and pepper. We remove well and reserve.

Tip: You can use whatever seasoning you like for chicken skewers, but I prefer to just add salt and pepper.

We wash and dry the peppers, and open them, remove the tail and the seeds inside. We cut them into squares of a size similar to the chicken cubes that we have cut. We booked.

Lastly, peel the onion and cut it into squares similar in size to the pepper squares and chicken breast cubes. We separate the layers and reserve.

To mount the chicken and pepper skewers we will need wooden sticks. We are puncturing and alternating pieces of onion, chicken and pepper as you see in these grilled skewers on the cover, or following the order that you like the most. When we have all the chicken and vegetable skewers ready, we paint the griddle with a splash of olive oil and when it is hot, we place them on top. We are turning them so that they are done well on all sides and we remove them from the fire when they are done.

If you cannot put them all at once we will have to cook the skewers on the grill in batches. Or they can also be made on the barbecue. Do not forget to accompany the grilled chicken skewers with a delicious potato or cucumber salad, and choose a good dessert such as a cheesecake or a sweet risotto with chocolate to make a well-rounded meal.
