Gribnoy Soup Recipe

Ingredients to make Gribnoy Soup:

  • 15 units of fresh mushrooms
  • 5 units of Potatoes
  • 2 units of Onions
  • 1 unit of Carrot
  • 1 bunch of Parsley
  • 1 bunch of Celery Roots
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of flour (can also be cornstarch)
  • 3 liters of water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • Vegetables to taste to add color
  • 1 jet of oil

How to make Gribnoy Soup:

  1. We start the recipe by cleaning the fresh mushrooms well. To do this, we soak them in cold water for 1-2 hours, changing the water 4 times. In case of having dried mushrooms, we will soak them in warm water and let them boil for 1 hour and a half over low heat.
  2. When we already have the clean mushrooms, we cut them into pieces. We also cut the carrot into thin slices and transfer both ingredients to a pot.
  3. Add the parsley roots, celery and water and let it boil for half an hour. Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and fry it separately.
  4. Cut the potatoes into small cubes and add them to the onion, along with a pinch of salt, pepper and bay leaves to flavor.
  5. Let cook for 15 minutes and add a cup of the broth that we had on the fire. We remove, add the flour to thicken the soup a little and add the vegetables in pieces.
  6. We leave a few more seconds and serve the gribnoy soup hot or cold as cut cream, whichever we like best.
