Green Spinach Crepes Recipe

Green spinach pancakes are nutritious and very easy to make, they are perfect to enjoy at breakfast time, to start the day full of energy. These green crepes can be served as both sweet and savory accompaniments, just like normal crepes. Follow the step by step of this recipe with spinach that will surely surprise you.

Ingredients to make green spinach crepes:

  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 130 grams of oatmeal
  • 2 units of Eggs
  • 1 sachet of Sweetener without calories
  • 1 splash of vanilla essence
  • 150 milliliters of milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 splash of canola oil

How to make Green Spinach Crepes:

Before making these healthy crepes, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready. In a processor add the spinach, the egg and the vanilla essence. Process for one minute until all ingredients are incorporated.

Tip: If you want to make salty green crepes you can do without the vanilla essence.

To finish making the spinach pancake batter, add the oatmeal, the sweetener, the milk and a pinch of salt. Process until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Next, in a pan with canola oil, cook the crepes in the traditional way. Add a little of the mixture and spread quickly, cook over low heat for 3 minutes on each side. Finally, serve the healthy spinach pancakes and enjoy. I recommend you accompany them with banana and peanut butter or simply with maple syrup for breakfast.
