How to make Green Salad:
Before starting to prepare anything we must wash all the vegetables very well, remember that it is important to disinfect everything that we are going to eat, especially if it is vegetables.
When you have everything well washed, gather the ingredients on the work table to start preparing our green salad.
Locate a deep bowl or a salad bowl and start by chopping the lettuce and spinach sprouts with your hands. Break these leaves into small pieces so that when serving and eating everything is much easier.
You can use any variety of lettuce, in fact this salad can be made with the ingredients that you like the most, changing the green leaves for escarole and arugula for example.
And we chop it with our hands to prevent it from oxidizing quickly, both lettuce and spinach. If you are going to eat the salad right away, you can use a knife or, alternatively, a special plastic knife for vegetables.
Now cut the tomatoes in half and place them in the salad bowl. I like to use cherry tomatoes in salads; I even like to combine different types of cherry to have more color and flavor, but if you prefer you can use any type of tomato for our green salad.
Finish chopping the remaining vegetables, the onion into fine rings, the pepper into julienne strips and the cucumber into unpeeled slices. Add everything in the salad bowl.
Purple onion is ideal for salads, but if you find its flavor too strong, you can use normal onion. The pepper is optional, but the cucumber is essential in a good green salad.
Also drain the black olives and cut the feta cheese into cubes. Make sure the olives are boneless and if they are very large, cut them in half. Cheese is always an optional ingredient, but it will add life to the salad. To make the vinaigrette mix a little oil with vinegar, salt and pepper.
Finally, add the vinaigrette to the salad bowl and mix everything together. Serve and enjoy this delicious green salad.
