Green rice with spinach recipe

Ingredients to make Green Rice with Spinach:

  • 1 cup of rice
  • ½ cup fresh Cilantro
  • ½ cup spinach
  • 2 cups of vegetable broth
  • 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of Oil

How to make Green Rice with Spinach:

  1. In a blender put the spinach leaves and cilantro together with the vegetable broth.
  2. Also add a pinch of pepper and salt.
  3. Blend well and Reserve.
  4. Apart, in a pot place the oil, heat and add the rice. Stir a few minutes without browning the rice.
  5. Next, add the broth, strained if you don’t want the rice to be so intense, and when it starts to boil, lower the heat and continue cooking for 20 minutes.
  6. After this time, turn off the heat and let it rest right there for 10 minutes.
