Greek Spinach Rice Recipe

Ingredients to make Greek Spinach Rice:

  • 250 grams of long rice
  • 100 grams of spinach
  • 1 unit of onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 branch of fresh dill
  • 100 grams of feta cheese
  • 1 unit of Lemon
  • 30 milliliters of sunflower oil
  • 500 milliliters of Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How to make Greek Spinach Rice:

  1. Before making this rice recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.
  2. In a pot with olive oil, add the onion and finely chopped garlic, cook until soft.
  3. Add the chopped spinach and cook until reduced in size.
  4. It is time to add the rice and mix it with the previous preparation, cook it all for a few minutes until it is a little transparent.
  5. Add the chicken broth and fresh dill, rectify the flavor with salt, cook over medium heat until the broth evaporates, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  6. When the rice has 5 minutes left to finish cooking, add the crumbled feta cheese, the lemon juice and mix, cover again.
  7. Finally serve the rice with Greek spinach and add a little feta cheese on top. This recipe is ideal to serve accompanied by a chicken curry.
