Ingredients to make Gratin Stuffed Mushrooms:
• 24 large stem less mushrooms
• Salt
• Pepper
• 3/4 cup minced or ground ham
• 4 to 5 onions, chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 tbsp mustard
• 1/3 cup mayonnaise
• Chopped coriander
• Hot sauce
• Lime juice
• 3/4 cup grated white cheese (Swiss or Monterey)
How to make Stuffed Mushrooms Gratin:
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Season the mushrooms with salt and pepper, brush with a little olive oil. In a deep bowl, mix the ham, onions, garlic, mustard, mayonnaise, cilantro, hot sauce, if desired, and lime juice. Add 2 thirds of the grated cheese. Divide the ham mixture among the mushrooms. Top with remaining cheese and place on baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes or until bubbly, brown in broil if desired. Serve straight away.
