Goose Ice Cream Recipe

El Gansito is a very famous commercial cake in Mexico and other Latin American countries, and who doesn’t like the combination of vanilla bread covered in chocolate with a strawberry jam and cream filling? It is a little cake that you should try sometime and that, in addition, is used to prepare other perfect recipes for lovers of sweets.

In this case, we are going to prepare a Gansito ice cream recipe, the perfect combination between a simple homemade ice cream, and this delicious cupcake. You can make it without having to have an ice cream machine and you will see that it will be ready in a short time to put it directly in the freezer. Ingredients to make Goose Ice Cream:

  • 500 milliliters of whipping cream
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 50 grams of melted chocolate
  • 50 grams of strawberry jam
  • Goose or similar pastry

How to make Goose Ice Cream:

  1. Start by beating the whipping cream until it is fluffy and very creamy.
  2. The shake time will be approximately 15 to 20 minutes, but it can be until you reach the point of creaminess that you prefer.
  3. Trick: both the cream and the container where you are going to beat must be cold so that the cream does not cut.
  4. Then, add the can of condensed milk and mix with the help of an enveloping palette.
  5. Tip: you can substitute the condensed milk for some other sweetener, just make sure it dissolves very well in the cream.
  6. Cut the geese into small pieces, you can use the amount you want.
  7. Trick: if you don’t get gansitos you can use another similar cupcake, or try with leftover vanilla cake that you have.
  8. Pour the whipped cream with the condensed milk into the container where you are going to freeze your creamy Gansito ice cream, add the strawberry jam spreading it around the ice cream, and do the same with the melted chocolate and the pieces of Gansito that you cut.
  9. Tip: you can also add the ingredients in layers and freeze, so you will have several levels of flavor.
  10. Mix with a toothpick or knife without stirring everything, we just want the ingredients to come together a bit. Take to freeze a minimum of 4 hoursor overnight.
  11. Serve in cookie wafers or in small glasses and everything will be ready to enjoy a delicious Gansito ice cream. You can add a little jam or cover with chocolate.
