  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • 1 pinch of oregano
  • 1 can of stuffed olives

How to make Gluten Free Spiral Bolognese:

  1. The first thing we will do is cook the gluten-free pasta.
  2. For this gluten-free Bolognese recipe I have decided to use some lentil-based pasta spirals that are great, but you can use any type of gluten-free pasta that you usually buy.
  3. Then cook in boiling water with a pinch of salt until the pasta is al dente.
  4. Remember to check the manufacturer’s recommended cooking time and drain when ready.
  5. To make the sauce, start by crushing all the vegetables or chopping them finely, depending on your taste.
  6. When you have it, heat oil in a pan and make a base saucetogether with the tomato until you see that the vegetables are tender.
  7. Next, add the minced meat and season with the spices to taste and the bay leaf.
  8. Go stirring everything with the help of a wooden spoon and keep cooking over medium heatuntil the meat is done and the sauce reduces a bit.
  9. Tip:The sugar will help level the acidity of the tomato in the sauce.
  10. On the other hand we must chop the olives into slices.
  11. The traditional Balinese sauce does not have olives, but it is a touch of extra flavor that I love on pasta, so it is completely optional.
  12. When you have the pasta and the sauce ready, all that remains is to serve a good plate of gluten-free Bolognese spiralsand decorate the top with the olives and grated cheese.
