Ingredients to make gluten-free chocolate crepes:
- 1 egg
- 150 milliliters of milk
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 100 grams of chocolate to melt
- 100 grams of cornstarch or rice flour
How to make Gluten Free Chocolate Crepes:
- Mix the egg with the cornstarch until integrated and undo all the lumps. For this, we recommend using manual rods. If you prefer, you can use rice flour, or divide the amount between both ingredients.
- Add the sugar and continue beating. We have used common sugar, but if you prefer you can opt for icing sugar so that the gluten-free chocolate crepes are softer.
- Microwave the milk with the chopped chocolate in small intervals to prevent burning. Stir to integrate and dissolve the chocolate well. If you prefer, you can use cocoa powder and mix it with the cornstarch.
- Tip: Confirm that the chocolate does not contain traces of gluten.
- Add the melted chocolate to the flour mixture when it has warmed and integrate perfectly to continue with the gluten-free crepe batter.
- Heat a little oil in a nonstick skillet, griddle or crepe maker. You can also use butter.
- Pour in some batter and cook the gluten-free chocolate crepe over medium-high heat. When you see small bubbles appear, turn it over and cook on the other side. Keep in mind that they are made very quickly, so you must constantly watch to prevent them from burning.
- You can fill your gluten-free chocolate crepes with whatever you like, such as coconut whipped cream or orange cream, which fit perfectly with the flavor of chocolate. Enjoy your meal!
