Ingredients to make Garlic Soup with Clams and Ham:
- For 4 people:
- 1 loaf of bread the day before
- ½ kg. of clams
- 200 grams of ham
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 liters of vegetable broth
- Hojiblanca extra virgin olive oil
- Salt
- parsley
How to make Garlic Soup with Clams and Ham:
- With a serrated knife, cut the bread into half-moons and put it to fry in a pan with a little oil.
- Stir it while it toasts a bit.
- Strain over the vegetable broth. Season and cook for 15 minutes.
- Clean the clams, add them and cook until they open.
- Peel, chop the garlic cloves and put them in the mortar. Add a little salt and chopped parsley and mash everything well
- Pour the mashed into the soup and bring to a brief boil.
- Chop the ham and sauté it in a pan with a little oil.
- Add it to the soup, mix and serve in a tureen.
