- 2 envelopes of ajoporro (leek)
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 4 tablespoons of powdered milk
- 1 cube of chicken broth (consommé)
- 1 tablespoon of margarine
- 1 pinch of pepper (optional)
- 4 cups of water (960 milliliters)
How to make leek cream:
- Cut the leeks into slices, first discarding the leaves and the roots of the other end.
- Brown the leek in the melted margarine, taking care not to burn it. Then, she adds the amount of water and continues cooking the homemade leek cream.
- Add the peeled and crushed garlic, and leave the preparation on the heat until the leek is soft.
- Once the leek is soft, blend the preparation to obtain a smooth, homogeneous leek cream without lumps.
- Pour in the milk and flour, and continue beating to fully integrate these ingredients.
- Return the leek cream to the heat to thicken it, add the cube of chicken consommé, mix and let it cook for a few seconds.
