Ingredients to make Galician clams:
- 1 kilo of clams
- 2 medium onions
- 1/2 red pepper
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons of fried tomato
- Oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 small glass of white wine (albariño)
- Salt
- White pepper
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1 envelope of saffron
- Parsley
How to make Galician clams:
- In a pot with a little oil, brown the garlic, onion and pepper, all cut very fine.
- Add the parsley and bay leaf.
- When the washed clams are added, stir a bit and add the fried tomato, the saffron envelope, the white wine and the breadcrumbs.
- Season with salt and pepper and cook for 10 minutes.
