Ingredients to make Galician seafood salpicón:
- 20 cooked prawns
- 12 mussels
- 10 crab sticks
- 2 legs of cooked octopus
- 1 green pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 2 sweet onion or spring onion
- 1 splash of olive oil
- 1 splash of vinegar (optional)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon sweet or hot paprika
How to make Galician seafood salad:
- Start by steaming the mussels, when they are cooked let them cool and remove the shells, reserve. On the other hand, wash the vegetables and cut them. Cut the peppers into small pieces, you can put the three kinds of peppers or just the one you like; I found the three kinds of peppers and, to make the dish more colorful, they look great.
- Go putting everything chopped in a bowl.
- Now, prepare the seafood and crab sticks. Peel the cooked prawns. You can buy them fresh and cook them, but in this case we have bought them cooked. Once peeled, cut them into pieces and you can leave some whole to decorate the dish at the end.
- Prepare the legs of the octopus, clean it a little if it has a lot of skin on the sides and cut it into slices or pieces.
- Add everything to a bowl along with the vegetables and mix.
- Prepare the seasoning for the Galician seafood silicon. In a glass add a good jet of oil, a little vinegar and salt, mix it to infuse it well and pour it over all the ingredients, mix.
- You can put a little of the vinaigrette and the rest serve it separately so that each one can serve the dressing to their liking on their plate.
- Put the Galician seafood silicon on individual plates, put a couple of prawns on top and finish dressing it with a little sweet or spicy paprika.
