One of the most versatile ingredients we have in the kitchen is undoubtedly pasta. Its variety is immense and the possibilities of combining it with other ingredients are almost endless. Ingredients to make Fusilli with mushroom cream:
- 200 grams of fusilli
- 250 grams of mushrooms
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 pinch of ground pepper
- 1 pinch of smoked paprika
- 1 splash of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 200 milliliters of cream or cooking cream
How to make Fusilli with mushroom cream:
- To start preparing the fusilli with mushroomsand garlic, put plenty of water in a pot, bring it to a boil and when it starts to boil add the fusilli pasta.
- Cook al dente according to the instructions on the package, stirring from time to time to prevent it from sticking and remove it from the heat when it is done (that is, cooked but without becoming excessively soft). We put it in a drainer and reserve.
- Tip:You can substitute the fusilli for any other type of pasta.
- Meanwhile we wash, clean and laminate the mushrooms. When we finish, peel the garlic cloves and slice them too.
- Put a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan and bring it to the heat, add the garlic, stir them a few times and add the mushrooms.
- Sauté until almost done, at which time we add pepper and smoked paprika, we remove well.
- Tip:You can substitute fresh mushrooms for canned mushrooms and it will take even less time to have the recipe ready.
- Finally we add the pasta and the cream to cook. Mix all the ingredients well and let the cream reduces.
- Tip:Try preparing the fusilli with mushrooms without cream, they are also delicious and much lighter!
