Fritos or croquettes recipe

Ingredients to make Fritos or croquettes:

For 4 people

• 100g butter or margarine

• 100g cornstarch sifted

• 1 liter milk

• Eggs

• Gluten-free breadcrumbs.

How to make Fritos or croquettes:

Melt the butter or margarine over low heat. Then add cornstarch. When we have well collected the mass of fat and Cornstarch and it has boiled, we add the milk (which we will have previously heated).

Let it cook and then remove it to a plate or a mold and let it rest for about 10 hours. Then, with a spoon we take portions of the dough that we pass through Cornstarch, egg and gluten-free breadcrumbs and fry them.

Note: this same dough, but with a lighter texture, can be used to bind farces or as a filling for piquillo peppers. Everything you are looking for your kitchen here.
