Ingredients to make Fried Prawns:
- 1 jet of oil
- 300 grams of fresh and clean prawns (peeled or not)
- juice of a lemon
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
How to make Fried Prawns:
- Marinate the prawns in the lemon juice with the paprika, salt and pepper to taste for half an hour.
- Make a traditional battered tempura if you are going to prepare the fried peeled prawns. Failing that, you can fry the marinated prawns with the shell directly without anything else or even just flour them. It all depends on how you want to prepare the fried prawns.
- Other options for batter are Japanese tempura for example.
- Drain the prawns on absorbent paper, pass them through the paste to fry (or not) and fry them in hot oil until golden brown, remove with a slotted spoon and dry on absorbent paper.
