Ingredients to make Fried cod with paprika:

  • 4 pieces of code
  • 2 chilies
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • flower
  • oil
  • hot paprika
  • 1 glass of cloudy white wine

How to make Fried Cod with Paprika:

  1. Separate the pieces of desalted cod in a bowl. In the event that the fish is not, you will have to leave it to soak overnight (at least 8 hours) and change the water several times so that the cod with paprika recipe is not too salty.
  2. We will need a glass of cloudy white wine and enough flour to coat the cod.
  3. In a frying pan we put the oil, when it is hot we add the chopped garlic, and let it fry a little without the garlic browning too much.
  4. Add the chili to the oil and let them fry. When everything is well fried, remove the garlic and chili from the oil and reserve it to later fry the cod with paprika.
  5. While we leave the oil heating to fry the cod that we flour just before frying. Once floured, we introduce it into the very hot spicy flavored oil first for the meat part.
  6. Trick: If we flour the fish long before frying it, it will absorb the flour completely and it will not be useful to have coated it.
  7. Then we turn it over and let it fry on the skin side.
  8. Once fried, we put the hot paprika and garlic that we had reserved on top of the fried cod.
  9. We will have the fried cod with paprika ready.
