- 5 slices of bacon
- 1 15-ounce can chickpeas, cooked in water and salt
- 1 small can of precooked chicken nuggets

- In a large skillet, brown the bacon over low heat until it renders its fat. Remove the bacon and drain on absorbent paper. Let it cool, crumble it and reserve.
- Add the drained chickpeas to the pan and brown them over moderate heat, stirring occasionally so they don’t stick. Drain them on absorbent paper.
- Reheat the chicken pieces. Combine the three ingredients and serve on a fresh lettuce leaf or with the main dish of your choice.
