Fresh Roasted Ham Recipe

Ingredients to make fresh roasted ham:

  1. 1 onion
  2. 1 glass of cognac
  3. 400 grams of raspberries
  4. 1 lemon, the skin
  5. 1 orange, the peel
  6. 400 grams of Corinthian raisins
  7. 5 kilos of fresh pork leg
  8. 1 pinch of rosemary
  9. 1 pinch of salt
  10. 1 sprig of thyme
  11. 8 ccs of Port wine

How to make Fresh Roasted Ham:

  • Put the ham with its skin (or rind) in a baking dish well sprinkled with rosemary, thyme and salt.
  • Put in the medium oven (200º Celsius) for approximately half an hour, turning it continuously.
  • When this time has passed, see if it is cooked and if the necessary time is not left. A little before it is completely cooked, add the sliced ​​onion, the orange and lemon skins and the Port wine on top plus the raisins (previously soaked in cognac).
  • Let it cook in the oven for another 20 or 25 minutes and add the raspberries. Sliced ​​ham is served accompanied by raisins and raspberries.
