Folded and Stuffed Matanbre Recipe

Ingredients to make Matanbre Doblado and stuffed:

  1. matambre
  2. Onion
  3. bell peppers
  4. Tomatoes
  5. bacon
  6. Buttery cheese


How to make Folded and Stuffed Matanbre:

  • Take a matambre and place it fat side down, fold it in half and press the folds to score, on one of those halves
  • Place onion, bell peppers, tomatoes all cut in Juliana, place strips of smoked bacon and strips of buttery cheese on top.
  • Fold the other part that remains without placing the filling and sew with a needle and thread all around and give a few stitches in the middle to prevent it from inflating.
  • Cook on a kitchen oven grill over a minimum heat for one hour on each side and lastly five minutes over high heat to brown the fat.
  • If desired, fathoms can be done in the same way over low heat and then add fathoms to brown the fat obviously on both sides. hope you like
