Flan Recipe with Vanillas and Sweet

This article brings today to delight you a super easy and cheap recipe: flan with vanilla and sweet, delicious isn’t it? A dessert with vanillas, solet as or exquisite ladyfingers, and it will only take a few minutes to make. Suitable to taste after lunch or at a family gathering, since it is profitable and everyone can eat it, even the smallest!

I thought about today’s option combining two flavors that go very well together: dulce de leche flan with vanilla. To know how to make this delicious vanilla dessert, I just kept reading the step by step of this recipe.

Ingredients to make Flan with vanillas and sweet:

  1. 5 tablespoons of brown sugar
  2. 1 envelope of instant dulce de leche flan
  3. 1 liter of liquid milk
  4. 1 package of Vanillas

How to make Flan with vanillas and sweet:

  • To make our dulce de leche flan with vanillas, we are going to start by making the caramel. To do this, we are going to place the sugar in a jug and we will take it to medium heat, stirring from time to time, as we see that the sugar begins to dissolve and the caramel begins to form. We will continue like this for a few seconds until we obtain a golden color and it is ready.

Trick: If you don’t have brown sugar, you can use regular sugar or whatever you have at home, I used brown sugar, because I have a lot of it since it’s one of my favorites.

  • Pour the caramel in to the source chosen for our dessert with vanilla and flan all over the surface. I recommend that it be a wide source, so that it is more comfortable to accommodate the vanillas and easier to serve.

Trick: Pour the caramel as soon as you have prepared it, since after a few seconds it begins to harden.

  • Pour the milk and then the instant flan into a jug or saucepan. Stir for a few seconds until the contents of the envelope dissolve and obtain a mixture for our flan with vanilla and sweet that is as homogeneous as possible.
  • Bring the saucepan over medium heat and stir from time to time with a wooden spoon, to prevent the dulce de leche and vanilla flan from sticking to the bottom, until the mixture boils. Let cool for a few minutes, and reserve until the moment of use.
  • Accommodate the necessary vanillas to cover the base of our fountain. If necessary, you can cut some so that they fit perfectly in it.

Trick: If you want, you can soak the vanillas with chocolate or with a few drops of sweet wine diluted in syrup or with a little water, it will give it an extra exquisite touch.

  • Overturn the preparation of homemade flan, little by little, on top of the vanillas. The amount of the mixture that you pour will be in proportion to your source, but make sure that the dulce de leche flan mixture covers the vanillas and reaches more than half of the source approximately.

Trick: If you have leftover flan preparation, you can pour it into another mold or individual bowls and add what you want or leave them alone.

  • Take our flan with vanilla and sweet to the fridge for approximately 4 hours, so that it cools down and becomes firm. Once this time has passed, withdraw and serve.
  • And in just a few steps and with few ingredients, as we said, you already have this delicious vanilla dessert ready. You can serve the homemade flan like this alone or accompany it with some sweet or cream, as you prefer. Bon appétit!
