Fish in tartar sauce recipe

Ingredients to make Fish in tartar sauce:

  • 400cc of oil
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pickled vegetables
  • 2 chopped hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 eggs, the yolks
  • 75 ccs of lemon, juice
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 kilo of fish
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar

How to make Fish in tartar sauce:

  1. Cook the fish in salted water and, once ready, let it cool. Prepare the tartar sauce by beating the egg yolks and adding the oil, little by little, until a consistent mayonnaise is formed.
  2. Add the salt, mustard, lemon, vinegar, egg, parsley, pickles in vinegar and capers.
  3. Put the drained fish in a dish, cover it with the sauce and place a potato salad around it.
  4. If the fish used were hake or sea bass, it should be put in a colander with coarse salt before cooking to harden the meat and thus prevent it from falling apart when cooking
  5. Before cooking it, wash it well.
