How to make Kids Fish Fritters:

  1. Boil the dogfish for 2 hours. Then, discard the water and allow the meat to cool. Then shred the fish. If you can’t find dogfish on the market or you don’t like it, you can use any white meat fish of your choice, such as hake or cod.

  5. Add the flour, salt, baking soda and water. Mix everything very well. When you can no longer stir with the rod, use a wooden spoon. You can add a little more flour if you prefer, but remember that this type of fish fritter mix is not very dense.
  6. Add the cut vegetables and the fish: the garlic, the spring onion, the parsley and the dogfish. Mix all the ingredients until fully incorporated.
  7. Tip: If you add half a teaspoon of turmeric (optional) you will achieve a very interesting flavor.
  8. Prepare a pan with plenty of oil. Wait until the oil is hot (not smoking), fill a tablespoon with the batter and pour it over the pan. Turn the kid friendly fish balls until golden brown on all sides.
  9. Trick: You can help yourself with two spoons to form the homemade fritters and when placing them in the pan.
  10. Once the fish fritters are ready, place them on top of a tray with absorbent paper until most of the fat is removed.
  11. How delicious and crunchy these fish balls are! Children will love it and adults will be captivated. These children’s fish fritters are very juicy and tasty on the inside; also crispy on the outside. A flavor to share with the family!
