Ingredients to make Cold Fish:
- 6 pieces of fish (hake, grouper, sea bass…)
- 4 onion
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 1 pinch of oregano
- 1 pinch of cumin
- 1 sprig of parsley
- 2 lemons (juice)
- 1 cup of oil
- 2 large lemons sliced
- 2 tomatoes
How to make Cold Fish:
- Clean the fish by removing some bones, but keep it with the spine.
- Season it with salt, pepper, lemon juice, oregano, cumin and brush it with a little oil.
- Cut the onion into a large feather slice.
- Put the fish in a wide-based saucepan.
- Add the onion, bay leaf, parsley and oil.
- Cover, let simmer for 25 minutes or until cooked.
- Place the sliced tomato on the preparation and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Keep it until the next day without removing it from its juice.
- Serve cold and decorated with lemon slices.
- Accompany with salad to taste.
