Fish Burger Recipe

Ingredients to make Fish Burger:

  • 500 grams of white fish
  • 1 piece of onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 150 grams of breadcrumbs
  • 1 glass of oil for frying
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

How to make Fish Burger:

  1. To prepare healthy fish burgers, you must first put a pan with a little oil over medium heat, chop the half onion and fry it. You must leave the onion until it is soft and takes a little color.
  2. Clean the fish of skins and bones. Cut it up and clean it well with scissors so that small pieces remain, in this way, we can see perfectly if there are any thorns.
  3. Take a bowl and add the minced fish. You should also add the poached onion, garlic and finely chopped parsley, an egg, a little salt, pepper and 2-3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs. Mix all the ingredients well until a well-integrated mass is left. If it is too soft, add a little more breadcrumbs until it is a more compact mass and you can make the hamburgers.
  4. Leave the dough for about 30-40 minutes in the fridge to rest and take the flavors.
  5. Take the dough out of the fridge and make balls the size you like best. This amount should make about 4 large burgers.
  6. If you like crispier hake burgers, put some breadcrumbs on a plate. Flatten the burgers giving them the desired shape and pass them through the bread.
  7. Put a jet of oil in a frying pan to fry over medium heat, when it is hot, fry and brown the homemade hamburgers on both sides, approximately 3-4 minutes on each side. The time will depend on how thick the burger is. It should be juicy inside, because if it stays too dry, the fish will not be good. Ready and eat!
