  • 1 kilogram of ground beef
  • 1 package of Lumpia wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of ground Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 bottle of sweet hot sauce
  • 1 kilogram of carrots
  • 1 kilogram of potatoes
  • 1 piece of Celery
  • 1 onion

How to make Philippine Lumpias:

The first step in making this Philippine lumpia is to cut the vegetables (potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion) into very small pieces. Next, cook the meat in a frying pan, without oil, until all its juices come out. Then put the onion and a little garlic on top and stir. Then add the carrot, potato and celery, and continue stirring. Since the vegetables are a little more cooked, we add the tablespoon of soy sauce, salt and pepper. When it’s ready, check if it tastes good. Let the meat of the lumpias cool.

Take out and thaw the wrappers from the package. Peel them off and put them all at an angle. Add a little meat and vegetables in each one to form the Philippine lumpias. Fold each one end to end and tighten. Put a frying pan with oil and put the vegetable and meat lumpias in it. Fry them until they turn a light brown color. Take out the Philippine lumpias and put them on a plate with a napkin underneath, so that it absorbs all the oil and they are ready. Bon Appetite! Accompany them with the sweet spicy sauce.
