Fideua recipe with cuttlefish

Ingredients to make Fideuá with cuttlefish:

  • 300 grams of Cuttlefish (in rings)
  • 500 grams of angel hair noodles
  • 3 green or long onion sprigs
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 50 grams of fresh parsley
  • 2 units of Red Paprika or Pimento
  • 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper

How to make Fideuá with cuttlefish:

  1. To start making our fideuá with cuttlefish recipe, the first step is to prepare all the ingredients.
  2. Wash our paprika or pepper and long or green onion. Chop very finely and place in a frying pan over medium heat to make a sauce base.
  3. Sauté with a little olive oil and add the finely chopped garlic. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Add our cuttlefish cut into rings to the pan. Continue cooking and let fry for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. After this time, add the noodlesand mix everything so that the pasta absorbs the flavors of the sauce. Let fry for a couple more minutes.
  6. Finally, add a cup of water and cook until the pasta is done. If you want the fideuá to have a more intense flavor you can replace the water with fumet or fish broth, seafood broth or if you prefer vegetable broth.
  7. Serve our fideuá with cuttlefishdecorating with a little parsley sprinkled on top; this will give our preparation a delicious flavor.
