Fettuccine recipe with dried tomatoes and prawns

Fettuccine accompanied by sautéed vegetables with dried tomatoes and prawns. An easy and quick recipe with which you will surprise everyone with its intense and delicious flavor.

Ingredients to make Fettuccine with dried tomatoes and prawns:

  • 400 grams of dry Fettuccine
  • 4 units of dried tomatoes
  • 200 grams of peeled prawns
  • 1 piece of Onions
  • 1 unit of green pepper
  • 1 unit of red pepper
  • 1 unit of yellow pepper
  • 1 pinch of black and white pepper
  • 1 dessert spoon of oregano
  • 1 dozen Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 splash of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Fettuccine with dried tomatoes and prawns:

  1. In a saucepan, heat the olive oil.
  2. Cut the onion and peppers into strips. We put in the casserole to poach over medium-low heat.
  3. Cut the dried tomatoes into pieces and add to the casserole to poach everything together for about 10 minutes.
  4. When the vegetables are a little tender, we add the prawns and the cherry tomatoescut in half.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste (if there are children among the diners, very little pepper because they don’t usually like it) and a teaspoon of oregano.
  6. Sauté the whole for 5 minutesor until we see that the prawns are cooked.
  7. While all the vegetables are cooking, separately in a casserole with plenty of water and salt, cook the fettuccine for 5 minutes. We drain well.
  8. Finally, mix the cooked fettuccine well with the sautéed vegetables and prawns and you are ready to enjoy.
