Enchipotlados Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients to make Shrimp enchipotlados:

  • 1 pinch of Pepper
  • 4 cups of Water (960 milliliters)
  • 2 kilograms of shrimp
  • 1 can of Chipotle
  • ½ onion unit
  • 2 peeled garlic cloves
  • 2 units of Knorr tomato cubes
  • 4 units of medium tomatoes
  • 1 small jar of mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons of mustard
  • 1½ sticks of Butter
  • Spices to taste
  • Salt to taste

How to make Shrimp enchipotlados:

  1. We will start our recipe with chipotle by washing and disinfecting the shrimp well, it is not necessary to remove the heads. Drain and brown them with the butter in a casserole.
  2. Meanwhile, take the blender or a mixer and crush the peeled and chopped onion, garlic cloves, chipotle pepper, Knorr cubes, mustard, mayonnaise, spices and salt. Beat it until it forms a thick sauce, not watery.
  3. To continue with the preparation of the shrimp with chipotle, once they are golden, add the previous sauce and mix it well with the prawns. Let everything boil together for 20 minutes over low heat.
  4. After the time, you can serve your enchipotlados shrimp pipinghot and accompanied by white rice and a corn tortilla.
