Ingredients to make Ecuadorian Green Rice:
- 1 lb. of rice
- 4 cups of water
- 4 green chilies
- 2 ounces of margarine
- 2 teaspoons of chicken broth
- salt to taste
- 1 clove garlic
- onion (optional)
How to make Ecuadorian Green Rice:
- Blend chills, garlic and water.
- In the hot margarine, fry the rice, then add the broth, the bouillon and the salt.
- Let it come to a boil and cover.
- Cook over low heat for 30 minutes or until rice has puffed up.
