Ingredients to make easy Roman Macaroni:
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 200 grams of chicken or beef
- 1 pinch of ground white pepper
- 50 grams of flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 400 grams of macaroni
- 4 crushed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons of orange juice
- 1 tablespoon sherry
- 1 pinch of salt
How to make easy Roman Macaroni:
- Boil the pasta in salted water and cook until al dente.
- Cut the chicken into squares and dry them.
- Season with salt and pepper, coat in a little flour and brown in butter.
- Pour the tomato and add the broth.
- Let reduce for a minute or two.
- Add the orange juice, the sherry and cook over low heat together with the chicken cubes.
- Serve the sauce with the pasta.
- Garnish with a few parsley leaves.
