Ingredients to make easy Pasticho:
- ½ kilogram of Pasta for lasagna
- 2 tablespoons Corn Oil
- 1 unit of Onion finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 kilogram of ground beef
- 4 cups of chopped ripe tomato (seedless)
- 1 can of large tomato puree
- ½ tablespoon Basil, oregano and bay leaf
- ½ cup dry red wine (optional)
- ½ kilogram of cottage cheese or ricotta
- ½ kilogram of Mozzarella in thin slices
- 200 grams of Parmesan cheese
- 1 pinch of salt and pepper
How to make easy Pasticho:
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- When hot, lightly brown the onion and garlic. Once the onion has started to color, add the ground beef and cook until it acquires a brownish tone.
- Drain the fat and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the tomatoes, the tomato puree, the herbs, the wine and the broth, mix and cook over low heatuncovered for 1 hour and a half.
- We will remove everything from time to time.
- If the sauce thickens more than necessary, we can add hot water little by little. Check the flavor with salt and remove the bay leaf.
- Separately, we cook the lasagna sheetsaccording to the package instructions, they should be al dente. Preheat the oven to 170ºC.
- When everything is ready, we take a refractory pan, grease it and place a layer of pasta on the bottom.
- On it, a little sauce, another layer of pasta, one of cottage cheese or ricotta, one of mozzarella and another of Parmesan.
- We repeat this procedure until we have at least three layers. We finish with Parmesan cheese, cover with aluminum foil and bake the pastichofor 20-30 minutes.
- Remove foil and cook until top is bubbly. Remove and serve hot.
