Easy pasticho recipe

Ingredients to make easy Pasticho:

  • ½ kilogram of Pasta for lasagna
  • 2 tablespoons Corn Oil
  • 1 unit of Onion finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 kilogram of ground beef
  • 4 cups of chopped ripe tomato (seedless)
  • 1 can of large tomato puree
  • ½ tablespoon Basil, oregano and bay leaf
  • ½ cup dry red wine (optional)
  • ½ kilogram of cottage cheese or ricotta
  • ½ kilogram of Mozzarella in thin slices
  • 200 grams of Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper

How to make easy Pasticho:

  1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. When hot, lightly brown the onion and garlic. Once the onion has started to color, add the ground beef and cook until it acquires a brownish tone.
  3. Drain the fat and add salt and pepper to taste.
  4.  Add the tomatoes, the tomato puree, the herbs, the wine and the broth, mix and cook over low heatuncovered for 1 hour and a half.
  5. We will remove everything from time to time.
  6. If the sauce thickens more than necessary, we can add hot water little by little. Check the flavor with salt and remove the bay leaf.
  7. Separately, we cook the lasagna sheetsaccording to the package instructions, they should be al dente. Preheat the oven to 170ºC.
  8. When everything is ready, we take a refractory pan, grease it and place a layer of pasta on the bottom.
  9. On it, a little sauce, another layer of pasta, one of cottage cheese or ricotta, one of mozzarella and another of Parmesan.
  10. We repeat this procedure until we have at least three layers. We finish with Parmesan cheese, cover with aluminum foil and bake the pastichofor 20-30 minutes.
  11. Remove foil and cook until top is bubbly. Remove and serve hot.
